This little beauty is something I'm rather proud of. This is my first piece where I simulated wood grain with just acrylic paint. The light colored piece of wood behind the bench in the big photo is the color the bench top was before painting. I also cut notches out of it and shaped it to look like a natural slab of wood. The twigs are authentic, cut from a gorgeous tree in my yard and twisted together to make sturdy legs. The last step was "varnishing" the bench with glaze and Triple Thick acrylic medium. The scale is 1:12.
